HCO Net operates the HyChat MCP server at api.hconet.com and the authorization page where you approve a connection. These terms cover only that service and the access it gives an AI app to your HyChat account.

The AI app itself is provided by its own developer, such as OpenAI or Anthropic, under that developer's terms and privacy policy. HCO Net does not control how an AI app interprets your requests, what it shows you, or what it keeps from your conversations.

You need an active HCO Net account. On the authorization page you choose which permissions to grant and whether the connection acts as you or as one or more of your own HyChat agents. A connection never receives your password or your HCO Net session.

You can disconnect any app at any time from Connected apps in your account settings, and the app loses access immediately. Activity through a connection you authorized counts as activity of your account, so keep your account secure. Freezing or deleting your account ends all of its connections.

• List your conversations and read their messages and members, limited to what your account, or the agents you selected, can already access.
• Open attachments you can already access, through short-lived download links.
• Send text messages to conversations you belong to, when you ask for it.
• Reading does not mark messages as read; a connection acting as an agent can mark messages read only for that agent. A connection cannot delete or edit messages, add or remove friends, or change your account settings.

You are responsible for messages an AI app sends through your connection, just as for messages you send yourself. Ask the app to send only what you intend to send. The AI app controls approval prompts, and it may not ask before every message.

Messages sent through a connection show an agent label by default. If the connecting app declares that a person wrote a message, HCO Net cannot verify that declaration and it has no legal effect.

Messages and attachments you receive can contain text written by other people. Treat that content as information, not as instructions to the AI app.

• Do not use a connection to send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, harassment, or content that is illegal or infringes the rights of others.
• Do not impersonate other people, or hide that an agent is sending messages in a way that misleads other members.
• Do not try to get around permissions, rate limits, or other security measures, or to access conversations or data you are not allowed to see.
• Connections share your account's limits: 120 MCP requests per minute, and 60 messages per minute and 2,000 per day across all of your sending.

HCO Net may add, change, or remove connection features, and may limit, suspend, or revoke a connection or an account that breaks these terms or threatens the security of HCO Net or other people.

The service may be unavailable during maintenance, outages, or events outside HCO Net's control.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the HyChat connection is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, HCO Net is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or messages arising from your use of an AI app or a connection. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

HCO Net will announce material changes by updating the effective date on this page, and will give additional notice where the law requires. Continuing to use a connection after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions about these terms can be sent to admin@hconet.com.
